✹ GENERAL: Guests can enjoy full access to the entire home and outdoor area.
✹ PARKING: Free parking is available for 4 vehicles in the driveway.
✹ Wi-Fi/INTERNET: We offer free, high-speed internet on the property.
✹ DOCK: Our private dock is excellent for those that love the water! For boaters, we do want to make sure you know ahead of time that (a) there isn't any electricity on the dock, (b) the boat lift is not accessible, (c) the dock has cleats to tie your boat, and (d) the water is deep but can vary based on the lake water level.
✹ PETS: No pets are allowed.
✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT: Please note that we do require signature of our rental agreement/liability waiver within 48 hours after booking.
✹ TWO PAYMENTS: In order to ease the process of securing our stay, we will divide up you purchase into two payments. 40% will be charged immediately and 60% will be charged 30 days prior to check-in. Both charges will be from KH2 RENTAL HOME. If your booking date is within 30 days of check-in, you will receive one charge reflecting 100% of the reservation amount.
✹ ID VERIFICATION: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
✹ CANCELLATIONS: If the guest cancels the booking and is entitled to a refund, the refund will be reduced by 4% as we have to pay the processing fees regardless.
✹ CAMERAS/RECORDING DEVICES: We have three (3) actively recording cameras outside that record video and audio. One is on the doorbell and the other two are mounted on the gazebo pointing toward the dock and the home.

We do a couples trip every year and stopped for the first time in Lake Norman on our way to our final destination. Honestly had no idea what we'd been missing. The house itself is just insane when you walk in, the log walls and huge windows looking right out at the water. We were all kind of speechless for a minute. Each couple got their own room which was great, no one was fighting over bathrooms or anything like that.We kayaked, hung out on the dock, and grilled some food. We ended up at the firepit way later than planned which is always the sign of a good time! Dan and Sara were very easy to deal with and the place was exactly what was advertised. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back again but staying much longer!

The log construction is even more impressive in person, and those huge windows looking out over the lake made our morning coffees incredibly peaceful.Plenty of space for everyone without anyone feeling on top of each other, which is rare for a group our size. We spent most of our time outside. The dock was perfect for fishing and watching the boats go by. We used the kayaks at sunset and both evenings ended around the firepit telling stories. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and everything was exactly as described. We loved it so much we're looking to see if we can come back in the summer with some more time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful log home. The setting is incredibly peaceful and the views are just stunning. Our favorite part was sitting by the large windows in the morning, sipping coffee and just taking in the scenery. It is the kind of place where you immediately relax. The view is also beautiful from the bed in the master bedroom, which made waking up there feel extra special. It really feels like you are surrounded by nature the entire time you are there. The house itself is very comfortable and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen is well stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together as a family. We also loved the firepit area. It is such a beautiful place to gather in the evening. They even provide the perfect extendable marshmallow roasting sticks along with complimentary firewood, which made it feel extra m easy. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous views and a wonderful place to spend time with family, this is it!
